Draft Roscrea Local Area Plan 2023-2029

Submissions or observations may be made in one of two ways:

1. Online via the Button marked ‘MAKE A SUBMISSION’
2. In writing (marked “Roscrea Local Area Plan”) to:

• Planning Department, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, E45 A099
• Planning Department, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Emmet Street, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, E91 N512. 

Submissions or observations must be made in writing no later than 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday 11th April 2023.  Late submissions will not be accepted.

Please consider the following in making your submission:

1. Submissions should be in ONE medium only i.e. online or in hard copy.  Emailed submissions will not be accepted. 
2. Submissions should include the full name and address of the person making the submission, details of organisation, group or company represented where relevant. 
3. Please include a map if your submission refers to a particular location, land or feature.
4. Children or groups or associations representing the interests of children are entitled to make submissions or observations to the draft LAP.
5. Please be advised that all submissions received will be published online within 10 working days, and will be set out in a Chief Executive’s Report that will also be published.
6. Please ensure that no vexatious, libellous or confidential information, including confidential information relating to a third party (in respect of which the third party has not, expressly, or impliedly in the circumstances, consented to its disclosure) is included. The Planning Authority reserves the right to redact any submission or part thereof that does not comply with this requirement.
7. All submissions/observations will be subject to the Data Protection Act 1988-2018 and the Freedom of Information Act 2014

Council staff will be available in Roscrea to answer general queries and provide guidance on the Draft LAP consultation process, you are welcome to come along to the Roscrea Public Library, Birr Rd, Townparks, Roscrea from 3.00pm – 7.00pm on Wednesday 22nd March 2023.
