The elected members of a local authority may make a scheme providing for the abatement of rates in respect of vacant properties under Section 9 of the Local Government Rates and Other Matters Act 2019.

Tipperary County Council will consider amending its current Rates Abatement Scheme providing for abatement of rates in respect of vacant properties, with any changes applying in the 2027 local financial year and beyond.

Following a review, draft Tipperary County Council Parking Bye-Laws 2026 have been prepared for the control and regulation of parking of vehicles in the Towns of Clonmel, Nenagh, Thurles, Templemore, Roscrea, Tipperary Town, Cahir, Cashel and Carrick-on-Suir being the administrative area of Tipperary County Council.

The Draft Noise Action Plan has been informed by and is based on the Strategic Noise Maps which were prepared for Tipperary County Council, and which covers road transport noise from major roads with traffic volumes of more than 3 million vehicles per year.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADDITIONS TO THE RECORD OF PROTECTED STRUCTURES IN THE TIPPERARY COUNTY DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2022-2028

SECTIONS 54 AND 55 OF THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 54 and 55 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) that Tipperary County Council proposes additions to the Record of Protected Structures (RPS) in the Tipperary County Development Plan 2022-2028. 

Tell us how you think Tipperary should transition to a low carbon county.  We would like to hear any thoughts, comments or observations you might have and would welcome your input at this pre-draft stage. 

Submissions will be accepted from 9.30am on Friday 24th March 2023 to 4.00pm on Friday, 14th April 2023 inclusive.

There will be a further opportunity for input into Tipperary’s CAP, through the formal Public Consultation which will take place later on in the process (expected to take place in October / November 2023).
