Introduction
Tipperary County Council invite you to participate in this first Public Consultation on the proposed Cahir to Cashel Greenway. The Greenway project is intended to create a sustainable transport link between the towns of Cahir and Cashel.
The proposed Greenway has the potential to increase safety and accessibility to points of interests for locals, tourists and vulnerable groups. The aim will be to enhance the visitor experience and contribute to the economic development of the local communities and the wider region.
Future Public Consultations will take place as the project develops to invite feedback on the proposed route options and on the merging preferred route option as the project progress through the planning and design lifecycle.
As part of this project, input from the local and general public will be a critical factor to ensure the maximum benefit of the project to the local area. This First Public Consultation is being held as the first stage of the project process to allow this data to be collected and inform the project development from its concept stage. All input is welcomed with some key questions set out for your consideration. This information will inform the development of route options.
