At the Tipperary County Council meeting of 12 June 2023, the elected members of Tipperary County Council considered the Draft Roscrea Local Area Plan 2023-2029 and the Chief Executive's Report prepared in respect of same in accordance with Section 20(3) of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended. The elected members resolved to amend the Plan in accordance with the recommendations set out in the Chief Executives Report and subject to additional amendments. The proposed amendments constitute material alterations to the Draft Roscrea Local Area Plan 2023-2029.
In accordance with Section 20 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), Tipperary County Council has screened the Proposed Material Alterations and has determined that Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) are not required with respect to the Proposed Material Alterations.
The Proposed Material Alterations to the Roscrea Local Area Plan 2023-2029 are:
