Tipperary County Council is developing a Local Transport Plan (LTP) for Thurles Town as recommended, in the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy for the Southern Region
As part of this project, we need to understand how residents, students, workers and visitors currently travel to and around Thurles Town, to identify what would make travel easier for people to access Thurles, including journeys made by foot, bike, public transport and by car.
Delivery of a Local Transport Plan for Thurles will identify the key infrastructural requirements of the Town and prioritise the transport interventions required in the plan area as the Town grows and develops over the next 10 years.
Your feedback will be invaluable to provide insight into the Thurles Local Transport Plan Study, helping to shape the development of future transport options for Thurles.
Responses from this initial consultation survey will be translated into a draft LTP for further consultation later this year.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. You can also provide feedback via an interactive map available at the end of the survey. We very much appreciate your help and support. Please note the closing date for this survey is Friday 24th June 2022.
SYSTRA Ltd., a transport consultancy, are supporting Tipperary County Council in the development of the LTP and will independently analyse and report on the findings of this survey.
All survey responses are confidential, and results will be reported anonymously. The research complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
