Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, Tipperary County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to provide pedestrian and cycle improvement measures on the R489 Riverstown, Co. Tipperary.

Description:
The proposal consists the construction of a 3.0 metre wide, shared pedestrian and cycle space along the northern side of the R489 from Riverstown Village to Killeen National School. The proposed scheme runs from the existing pedestrian crossing at the Farmleigh Estate Riverstown, along the R489, to the junction at Killeen National School L5045 a distance of 960 metres. Works also include the provision of public lighting, junction tightening works, landscaping, and the raising and lowering of manholes and gullies as required and all associated site works.

These documents may be inspected during normal office hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday from Thursday 2nd June 2022 to Friday 1st July 2022 inclusive (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).
