A Public Consultation and Information event will take place at Kickham Barracks STAC Chapel on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 between 12pm and 3pm. All members of the public are invited to attend and have their say on the refurbishment, potential use, regeneration, sustainability, arts, heritage and community.
This is a free drop in event with no booking required. The project is focusing on four existing former Clonmel Barracks buildings. The proposal includes refurbishing the existing STAC Chapel to a new cultural / multifunctional space, two Magazine Stores as Environmental and Sustainability Classrooms and re-purposing the existing building addressing the recently refurbished Kickham Plaza and Davis Street as a cafe.
