Following a review, draft Tipperary County Council Parking Bye-Laws 2026 have been prepared for the control and regulation of parking of vehicles in the Towns of Clonmel, Nenagh, Thurles, Templemore, Roscrea, Tipperary Town, Cahir, Cashel and Carrick-on-Suir being the administrative area of Tipperary County Council.

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Section 36 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 (No. 7 of 1994), a copy of the draft Bye-Laws is available for inspection between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday at:

Tipperary County Council Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh,Co. Tipperary, E45 A099;

Tipperary County Council Civic Offices, Emmet Street, Clonmel,Co. Tipperary, E91 N512;

Thurles Municipal District Offices, Castle Avenue, Thurles,Co. Tipperary, E41 KA44;

Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District Offices, Rosanna Road,Tipperary, Co. Tipperary, E34 WD51

Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District Offices, Town Hall, New Street,Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, E32 YV00;

Submissions in relation to the draft Bye-Laws may be made in writing to Liam Brett, Director of Services, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary or via email to parkingbyelaws@tipperarycoco.ie, and the period for receipt of submissions has been extended to 4.30pm on Friday, 13th March, 2026.  Submissions received will be taken into consideration before making of the Bye-Laws by Tipperary County Council.

A copy of the draft bye-laws remains available for inspection and may be purchased on payment of a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making such copies and are also available on consultations.tipperarycoco.ie.
