Traffic Calming, Pedestrian and Cycle Improvement works along the R445, Lisbunny, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transportation Regulation Act 2009, Tipperary County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to provide pedestrian and cycle improvement measures on the R445, Lisbunny Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Description:

The proposed works will consist of the following; the construction of a 3.0-metre wide on average, shared pedestrian & cycle surface, on both sides of the R445, a reduction of road widths to a minimum of 6.0 m, along the R445, in the Townland of Lisbunny, Nenagh, Co Tipperary. The scheme extents, are from the junction of the Abbey Court Hotel, to the Lisbunny Business Park, to improve vulnerable road user safety.

Works also include the provision of and upgrade to the existing public lighting, junction tightening works, landscaping, and the raising and lowering of manholes and gullies as required and all associated site works.

These documents may be inspected during normal office hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday from Thursday 4th August 2022 to Wednesday 7th September 2022 inclusive (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).
